Fabric Calculator Excel Spreadsheet  - zip format file. This spreadsheet calculates fabric yardage requirements for binding and backing based on the quilt size. The fabric requirements are listed in inches, yards, and meters. The first sheet is binding, the second sheet is backing, the third sheet documents how to use the calculator. This spreadsheet should work with most Microsoft Window releases.

The spreadsheet is compatible with the Palm Handheld Documents To Go software. The calculator sheets are small enough that they will fit on the Palm screen and can be used without scrolling. Great for calculating borders and backing when you're at the quilt shop. The spread sheet should work with the Quicksheet software as well but it has not been tested with the latest release.

Reversible Chemo Hat - Free reversible hat pattern in Adobe Acrobat PDF format designed especially for chemo patients.

I developed this pattern after very good friend of mine was recently diagnosed with cancer. She wanted headwear for around the house as well as for cold nights in bed to keep her head warm. I have made her 6 of these hats so far - five of them from soft flannel.

You may use, copy, or distribute this pattern for private, non-commercial or education purposes only. This pattern is NOT FOR RESALE.

If you have comments about this pattern, please feel free to email me (see pattern for email address). I will be happy to correct or clarify any problems. No matter how many times I edit, I always miss something!

Best read with Adobe Acrobat 5.0.
